How to Trim Your TUFF1 Gun Grip

All TUFF1 grips are the same size - they are truly universal - and will fit nearly any standard handle based firearm. They do not slip!

Do they fit compacts and small handles? YES - but there are instances for compacts where it will need to be trimmed - no worries - it's easy and we'll still guarantee it.

Here’s our experience for the best trim/cut: (To provide a better fit for your compact firearm)

  1. Install your TUFF1 on your firearm handle and mark it where you want the cut.
(see basic install instructions http://www.tuff1.com/how-to-install-tuff1-gun-grips )
  2. Make sure you mark the cut to clear the magazine release.
  3. Then remove the TUFF1 grip and put it on a flat surface (cutting board, etc)
  4. Press the TUFF1 grip flat and use an exacto/razor knife to cleanly cut it.
(you can even cut it at an angle where it’s higher toward the backstrap for maximum coverage)
  5. Follow these instructions -- we’re confident that you’ll make a good cut…
but If it doesn’t go as planned, send it back it to us and we’ll replace it FREE.
(unheard of... but that's how we do business)
